Three Steps to an Independent Future
Unfortunately most Americans do not have even the basic of legal documents. There are many retirees who own only their home or they have too much funded in their pension accounts, such as IRA's, with little cash saved elsewhere. All too late, they find out that liquidity is essential- especially when a crisis occurs. Still, others have never had important discussions with their family support team to ensure their health care needs are met. What many people may not realize is that crisis planning- the last minute plan - costs more money and provides fewer asset preservation options.

As a not-for-profit organization, LISEC does not solicit. Our mission is to help educate retirees, those hoping to retire and family caregivers to make informed decisions about their future. Our three steps have proven simple and yet effective in providing peace of mind when a crisis occurs.
1. Create Your Support Team:
You need two "Support Teams"
- Family or Other Support Team are your legal representatives acting as your mouth piece.
(For example: your Will executor, Trustee, Power of Attorney and Healthcare Proxy)
- Professional Support Team are your advisors, tax professional, insurance agents
and attorney. Coordinating professional services can save you money.

As education advocates, we assist to coordinate services and extend our educational approach to help you meet today's challenges with knowledge. We can enable you to work more efficiently with your support teams to you can save money and time. * Tax deductible donations are accepted.
2. Establish Annual Support Team Meetings:
New laws and a fast changing economy can impact your future plans. Keep up with the changes annually to ensure you can meet your goals successfully. LISEC provides assistance in establishing Annual Reviews with you and your support teams to ensure your goals stay on track.
3. Get The Research And Resources You Need To Make Informed Decisions:
You must take charge! Educating yourself will save you money. Ask questions, find out about the resources you need and get help when you need it. Knowledge is power!
